24 years ago today, the world lost one of it’s best commediennes and brightest stars. Gilda Susan Radner died on May 20, 1989 after losing her long battle with ovarian cancer. Gilda is one of the most famous women, if not one of the most famous people in general, to be on “Saturday Night Live.”

Gilda, all of your fans, myself included, love you and miss you. Rest in peace.
